Settling down in To.

A few quick block ins done from memory.

Now that I've settled down/ have not started work yet, I'm trying to do one painting a day, experimenting with different styles. I've been impressed to draw rhinos ever since the zoo trip. Though they may not have much of a personality, they have an intricate design.

 I still have to upload 4th yr pre-productions and other portfolio works, but that will come later.

Zoo trip

thankfully i've been able to get back into the rhythm of sketching/painting again after a full day of "Joo"/Zoo-ing with good friends :) inspiration def. comes from life, not the internet... well sometimes.

 "Toads", a new thesis piece that might never get done. I had a sudden fascination/obsession with toads. Very expressive and shapely creatures that are très cool.

REduce, REuse, REcycle

some royal winter fair and other sketches. i found out that the cardboard backing of newsprint pads are quite useful! reduce, reuse, RECYCLE!

major FAIL-age

Saturday, we went to the zoO! For 3$, we got to pet and feed the stingrays and sharks!! :D
The red pandas finally arrived *_* So much cuter than raccoons those creatures lol.
Wallabies sit in odd positions. Looks like they're fondling themselves all the time @_@".

if all goes right, which i'm pretty sure won't.. i'll try to draw one pic a night. at the rate that i'm at now, it's already not looking too good lmao. i'm suppose to be doing some concept sketches. FAIL.

back to scholas!!

so malaysia was great. nice and hot. bitten by mosquitoes hundreds of mosquitoes and by my 6 year old nephew. lots of stray dogs, guard dogs.. and squirrels? who knew. the exhaust fumes from busses are black.

upon coming back from the month long trip in malaysia, my creativity level dropped x1000.. usually it should be the other way around.
